Any Inventory element can only be removed from the Inventory Menu as long as you have enough access privileges and also if the Inventory element has not been locked.
To remove an Inventory element, first select it in the Inventory Menu.
If you have the necesary access privileges and the Inventory element has not been locked there will be a 'Remove' button at the bottom of the sidebar.
WARNING: Removing an item will give you a warning as below, clicking OK to this dialog will permanently remove the Inventory element and all of its subelements. It is NOT undoable.
Click 'Remove'.
The item will be deleted and removed from the sidebar. All equipment relating to that Inventory element will also be removed. The Inventory Menu will select the parent element in the list.
It is not possible to delete the System, 'Stores', 'Off Site' and 'Obsolete' elements.
