A metering STATION in a SYSTEM at a geographical location comprising of but not limited to a: Measurement Skid, containing LOCATION's where instrumentation and actuators are installed, one or more Quality Instrumentation Loops, Tank farm's etc.
Each Station will also have a STORES, OFFSITE, OBSOLETE and TEST EQUIPMENT facility.
NOTE: You can only add/edit/remove a station if you have enough access privileges to do so and if the station has not been locked.
Adding a Station
Click on the System name at the top of the Inventory Menu.
Click the 'Add' button at the bottom of the Inventory Menu. Up to 4 stations can be added for each system.
Enter the Station name and its details.
By default the new station will only have the streams setup with a default selection of process elements.
Streams
Streams will be created by default. Unclick any Process Elements that are not required. If a flow meter has been selected remember to select the type of meter used. If no streams are required then unclick the 'Create default process elements for Stream' checkbox. This will automatically deselect the stream's process elements.
Common
To create a common location, click on the 'Common' tab and select the 'Create default process elements for Common' checkbox. This will automatically tick all of the process elements available for common. Unclick any process elements that are not required.
Prover
To create a prover location, click on the 'Prover' tab and select the 'Create default process elements for Prover' checkbox. This will automatically tick all of the process elements available for the prover. Unclick any process elements that are not required.
Quality Loop
To create a quality loop location, click on the 'Quality Loop' tab and select the 'Create default process elements for Quality Loop' checkbox. This will automatically tick all of the process elements available for the quality loop. Unclick any process elements that are not required.
Once completed click the 'Save' button and the station will be setup with all of the selected locations and process elements that were selected.
Note: Tags and equipment will still need to be added.
Editting a Station
Select the station from the Inventory Menu and click 'Edit'.
This will bring up the Edit Station screen as shown below. However if the station has been locked it will not be possible to change the station's name.
Make the necessary changes to the station and click 'Save'.
