When the server is installed for the first time it starts up with full administrator privileges. The administration features can be password protected to prevent unauthorised users changing settings on the server such as user access. To provide a server password select 'Set Password' from the 'Admin' menu.
When setting the password for the first time there is no need to enter an old password.
Type in the same password in to both the 'New Password' and 'Retype Password' fields and click 'OK'.
TIP: To remove the password, enter the old password but leave the 'New Password' and 'Retype Password' fields blank.
If a password has been entered and the server is restarted the password will also be required to enter the admin mode again.
To enter admin mode select 'Admin Mode' from the 'Server' menu.
Enter the server password. If a valid password is provided then the 'Admin' menu will become available.
To exit the server mode select 'Exit Admin Mode' from the 'Admin' menu.
