This web based data acquisition and control system can be accessed from anywhere in the world through the Internet with a conventional web browser or from within a secure internal Intranet using the same browser technology.
When accessing data from the Acquire™ server the data is encrypted using SSL 128bit encryption so all data transfers are secure. (optional)
Users are assigned their own user name and access password. When user access is set up, certain restrictions may have been applied to a particular user account. These restrictions may limit a user to being able to view data, change data or configure the server.
Whilst access from any point with Internet access is possible, it may be that certain users have been set up so that they can only access the server from a particular computer IP address.
If you feel that your security settings are incorrect, you should contact your server administrator.
