Provers

Prover can only be incorporated into a station when the station is first being created. Acquire currently handles three different types of provers: Bi-directional, Uni-Directional and Compact.

Compact Prover

A prover is treated like any other device on the P&ID. It can be dragged and dropped around the P&ID and it has a sidebar. The Bi-Directional and Uni-Directional provers also have switch detector devices embedded in them.

Sidebar

The sidebar for a P&ID has special capabilities for starting and monitoring the prove sequence. The sidebar for a prover is divided up into three different parts. One sidebar shows fields required for setup, one for an active prove and the third one for a completed prove (or to initiate a new prove). While in configure mode select the sidebar that you want to edit from the popup menu at the top of the sidebar. This popup menu is only visible while in configure mode. The fields on all these sidebars can be customised.

Switches

If the prover has a switch embedded in the prover graphic, it can be selected by clicking on it. The switch has its own sidebar and can be assigned its own inputs. To allocate an input field to the swich, right click on it and select 'Edit...', select the 'Input' tab and assign the field in the usual way.

Pallet

There is also a new pallet for the different prover types.

These provers can be dragged on to the P&ID in the usual way.
