Alarms Dock

Just below the P&ID is the alarms dock. The alarms dock is a summary of the latest 10 alarms that are active on the system.

The alarm tabs are made up of:

Accepting an Alarm

New alarms are shown as flashing coloured tabs to the right of any pre-existing alarm tabs, to show they have not been accepted yet. To accept an alarm:

• Click on the flashing alarm tab.

The alarm tab will change to steady grey, while it is sent to the web server. Once acknowledged it then changes to become a steady coloured alarm tab for as long as the alarm condition persists. Once the fault has been cleared the alarm tab is removed from the dock. As alarm tabs are cleared remaining alarm tabs are automatically moved accordingly.
